On a strange land she meets him, on the verge of death.  He is extremely frail and sickly but something about his charm seemed quite compulsive, that she couldn't resist helping him. 
His corporeal form seemed other worldly.  However, she was surprised to see that she could even lie for him, willing to turn all her friends into foes.  As a result of a tortuous fate, the two end up sharing  a night with each other. But he is watching them  and every move they make.
 Was this measure taken for pleasure or protection?  Who is the swindler? Will the dealer of the game just deal or be dealt with?
