9 parts Ongoing
In the world of Senshado, tradition and honor have always guided the hearts of its practitioners. Tankery, as it's known, is a sport dominated by girls and steeped in the legacy of World War II, where strategy, teamwork, and discipline come together in thrilling competitions between schools. For Miho Nishizumi, captain of the Oarai Girls' Academy Senshado team, it's more than just a sport-it's a way to forge lasting bonds with her friends and lead them to victory. But what happens when a new kind of challenge appears? One that breaks from tradition and introduces an unexpected twist? Rumors spread quickly about a foreign team-a group of boys who have created their own version of tank warfare. Unlike Senshado, which celebrates the history of classic tanks, these boys are piloting modern, cutting-edge machines like the M1 Abrams and the Leopard 2. They're faster, stronger, and equipped with advanced technology that gives them a distinct edge on the battlefield. What they lack, however, is the unique connection that Senshado teams build through trust and camaraderie. When Oarai receives an invitation to face off against this new team, Miho is intrigued. Despite the technological gap, she accepts the challenge, determined to prove that heart and teamwork can triumph over raw power. But as she prepares for this unusual battle, Miho meets Alex Morgan, the charismatic and sharp-minded captain of the boys' team. In the midst of competition, Miho and Alex begin to see that their differences may not be so vast after all. And what begins as a rivalry slowly transforms into something far deeper-a connection neither of them expected. As the two worlds of Senshado and modern Tank Warfare collide, Miho must not only lead her team to victory but also navigate the growing bond between herself and Alex. Together, they'll discover that no matter the tank or the battlefield, the heart of the fight is always the same.
