Juniper Evans only wish is to finish her last two years of college steadily, with little to no issues along the way. But, with Juniper comes some bad luck, caused by the big men in the sky, although shes never sure what she could have done to piss someone off that much. She's a petite girl, with a kind and very sarcastic personality, and her only fears are wasps and her strong ability to love.
On the other hand, Rocky Black is one of the most famous sophomores at Meadows University. He's lead striker on the soccer team, and is most definitely one of the most good-looking boys at MU, and oh does he know it. Rocky enjoys his hall of fame moment, where he gets all the girls without batting an eye and has everyone under his charm. Well, everyone but Juniper. But what Juniper doesn't know is that unlike her, Rocky fears that he is incapable of loving someone.
So when a daydreaming Juniper accidentally bumps into Rocky with a large cart full of books, she gets a handful of douchebag comments thrown her way, and from then on it seems like she just can't get rid of him, no matter how hard she tries.
What happens when the two of them finally get through to each other, spilling their deepest fears? Through lots of laughter, annoyance, sarcastic remarks and perverted comments, along with a hint of pain and suffering, Rocky and Juniper learn that love is not always to be feared.
