Mature
Rae is a normal teenage girl living by herself due to the untimely death of her mother. When Rae was just 13 her mother was brutally murdered and ever since then she swore that her mom would not be in vain and she would, one day, get revenge and put the person behind bars.

Her father died before she was born and her only friend is Moon, the quirky girl who decided that she was going to move into Rae's house with her.

During the start of their junior year they meet Swift the 'badboy' who sits next to Rae in all of her classes. She soon realizes that there is more to him than what meets the eye as he is telling her things about herself that she has kept bottled up for all of her life.

What kind of secret is Swift keeping from Rae and why does feel like Swift had something to do with her mothers murder?

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past.
