Icarus Owens is a 14 year old trans boy with a hateful mother. being sent off to boarding school and unable to transition due to the circumstances, he believes the world is against him. but maybe, with the gem he finds in the forest, things will start to look up for him.
a new villain has come to Centopia, disguising herself as a unicorn guard. her identity is unknown, but it's clear she's after the winged unicorn, Onchao. but when Icarus comes to Centopia, with his feathered wings, she changes her priorities and goes after him. Prince Mo receives a prophecy while he's sleeping.

You may still like this even if you don't like fantasy. It's more like a normalization of angelic humans. There's plenty of gay adorableness and cuddles. Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality. Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. He lives with his dad that does nothing but abuse him, and he has the biggest identity crisis you'll ever see. Then he meets the gyrokenetic boy Robin. Being able to tamper with gravity, will he keep Pepper on the ground or will he float away. *WARNING* This is a boyxboy and if you aren't cool with that just don't read it.
