Carmiah hates some Christians because of their works. She lived in doubt about God. She met Yarianna, an unbeliever, who greatly influenced her and the Christian youth who were serious about God. The people she met make her more confused because the influence of Yarianna and this Christian youth were fighting in her mind.

This is a story of old to new creation, being Christian youth, and serious to God. The Living Bible people are those who follow Jesus seriously and live according on God's Words.
__________

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
1 Corinthians 10:13
