Ashley Prince longs for a man she can call her own, but no one seems to recognise her for who she really is. She's seen only though magazines, TV shows and the tabloids as a spoiled girl, coddled infinitely by her overprotective parents.

Sometimes even she believes herself to be the cruel, conceited person she's portrayed as; but that's when she meets Hunter Roth. Well, rescues would be more accurate.

Hunter is everything she'd ever wanted, smart, funny, good looking; but most importantly, is there for her through thick and thin. There when the headlines are too unbearable, there when her friends are too fake.

Ashley isn't blind though, suddenly Hunter is almost too close to her. She begins seeing the same controlling attitude that she grew up with in someone else.

Everyone has their flaws, and it's only a matter of time before Hunter's start to seep through...
