Alex was born into a broken family, but it seemed to be even more so when his mom gave his new born baby sibling up for adoption.
If only he thought it was broken before, he became sure of it in that moment.
As Alex grew up, it was alone. He had friends, sure. He had a few mentors along the way as well. But he didn’t have a mom... Not really.

And he didn't have his sibling.

After a few years, Alex was able to mentor to someone like he had been when he was younger. He met Garret, who soon became like a little sibling to Alex. Though it still wasn't the same. Alex started searching. And searching. And searching.
Now he has the money and the sources and he’s that much closer.
