Chrysalis was certain that it was the time to birth a successor to the throne after capturing all of her enemies. But her reign came to a swift end and she could no longer abstain the birth when she had finally begun. Her child was born under her sole protection. No changeling army to ward off her foes, no secure hive to leave her child in with complete safety.

But then she established a truce with Tirek and Cozy Glow and together they had attained the power of Grogar from the legends. Before her successor would hatch from its egg, she will attain a kingdom that is befitting of the next queen...But in the end, she failed yet again.

Peace was struck amongst many creatures in Equestria and they have lived plentifully of years of harmony and happiness. But what of the egg that only Chrysalis knew of? The egg that was now orphaned due to the power of friendship.

A few years after the events of 'The Ending of the End', Twilight Sparkle, now crowned the new ruler of Equestria, faces a rather simple, but boring, lifestyle as a queen. Even when she was the princess of friendship, she has sort of missed all the good times she had with her old friends. Yet, despite this, some questions still linger on: Who is she? What will Equestria be like as a result of her actions? What will become of everyone else? It's there Twilight and Spike traverse to the future and finds that her teachings on friendship and harmony have been replaced with paranoia and mistrust, as the three pony kinds - Earth ponies, pegasi and unicorns - live separated from one another. It will now be up to Twilight, along with the help of some new friends, to try and solve this problem and bring ponies back together again. And where should she look for her real friends? And when the statue of Queen Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow is stolen from Canterlot Gardens, Luster Dawn comes into the story. This will also be a Cozy Glow reformation fanfic. Excerpt: Meanwhile, In Canterlot, Twilight, Cadence, Flurry Heart and Celestia stood on the four corners of a complicated circular design illustrated on the floor of the throne room. Each was sweating, the magical auras around their horns beaming brightly. In the center of the magic circle, the auras wove into a rainbow beam. Through the open skylight in the room, the beam shot out, facing the moon directly. Luna was standing on the side, looking up at the moon in hope. A rainbow sphere at the tip of the beam was coming closer and closer. It was slowly lowered into the throne room until the entire floor was just a ball of light. At once, the auras disappeared and the four alicorns stepped back. The light gradually died down to reveal a purple figure with large dark horns, curled up on the floor, clutching a silver hourglass. When a huge war breaks out in Equestria Princess Twilight loses everything she loved and cherished the most. Her friends, her family, her Mentor, her Castle, Everything. Luckily there was still one pony, er dragon per say, that was still alive. All Twilight wants is to see her friends again. She misses them so much and wishes that there was a way to see them again. Then she remembers the world she went through In order to retrieve her crown back from the Now reformed Sunset Shimmer. After she Notes Sunset about her coming and staying in the world Sunset now calls home, she goes through the portal back to Canterlot High. When she gets there, a ᏟᎬᎡᎢᎪᏆN, ᏴᏞᏌᎬ ᎻᎪᏆᎡᎬᎠ, ᏩᏌᏆᎢᎪᎡ ᏢᏞᎪYᎬᎡ just happens to be sitting by the portal thinking about twilight and wishing he could see her again.
