Kana Tachibana and Hiiro Kagami were two people who were focused on their studies in University, and after they got paired on a project and realized they were similar in a way, they just stuck together like instinct. But... Their status was always questionable. Now, Hiiro is an amazing surgeon and Kana works as Seito University's Health IT Specialist. But when another Bugster outbreak breaks out and the two schoolmates get reunited, their status becomes even more confusing.

(This story follows the Storyline of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, along with some extra scenes to show Kana and Hiiro's relationship, and to further Kana's character development.)
