Waking up and not knowing who or where you are is terrifying. But for her, it's completely normal. Relying on her own wit and strength and a journal found in her bag, revealing her self-given name; Dea. She must resume her journey of revenge for herself and her father, Prometheus. Zeus has cursed her father centuries ago where every day he will die only to heal at night and wake the next morning. This curse was passed down on to Dea though slightly less harsh. She only dies once a year.
After trying to fight Zeus to demand he release the curse and allow then her and her father into Olympia without fear of the other Olympian gods and titans, she lost and was murdered by Zeus while all of Olympia watched.

"Last thing I remember was Zeus laughing at me while the air got cold, him snapping his fingers and then... I was on the ground staring with blurry vision everyone walking away, for centuries I'll hear his voice as he whispers my curse in my ear, "on this day for the rest of you pathetic life, you'll die, but, you'll wake up and remember nothing. May your defeat and your father failing to be there forever be the last thing you remember. Enjoy this next year while you can." Then He was gone and it was black as I again died, knowing I failed and now bear my own curse. I closed my eyes with the promise that I will remember but it won't stop me, I may not know my name, I don't know my age. But I know I have a mission to fulfill and there's nothing that will stop me from completing it. I'll find away to get my memories back and I'll find my family. I will return to Olympia, all the gods and titans will remember who I am and who I defeated. I have nothing but time. Dying is easy, I'm not scared of death. I will win."

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

"Mother!" I called out, hoping for an answer. The screams of my people filled my ears. I felt tears go down my face as I begged for her answer. "Calliope! Big sister!" I cried, racing to the temple where I last saw them. Suddenly, I heard the chains of my father's weapon rattle. "Father!" I screamed, racing to the entrance of the temple and my eyes widened as I saw the horrific sight: bodies of the monks I used to play around with were slain and I saw as the hand of my mother's fall onto the stone ground. My big sister's limply looking leg was barely visible from the entrance. My eyes widened as I realized what had happened. I stared as the culprit began to mourn them and I glanced at my father's weapon, soaked in the blood of his victims. I was in shock, unable to speak, afraid that my father may kill me just like he did Mother and Calliope. I slowly backed away and threw down the necklace that father had crafted for me for that was no longer my father but a merciless murderer with a cold heart. Kratos. ******************************* My name is Adoni of Sparta, daughter of the Spartan General Kratos and the beautiful and strong Lyssandra. I had a sister named Calliope but... They're gone. My father killed them, traumatizing his other daughter as she ran away from the scene, afraid of her father, afraid that he may kill her in cold blood. Luckily, I was saved by the gods and goddess of my home, who have molded me into a strong, beautiful, fearless, intelligent and talented warrior woman. One who is perfect to take revenge on her father. Strong enough to kill him if needed but intelligent enough to get the answer to the question I desired to ask him: "Why did he kill our family?" #1 Ranking in #Sparta

[COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.
