A continuation of Stephanie Myers the host. Jamie falls in love with a human named Cynthia Press. Cynthia and Jamie are seperated from the group on a raid and they must find their way back home. Cynthia and Jamie find the ghost of Cyn's sister Niccolette. Nikki guides Cyn out of the hotel they were staying in because seekers are going to be there that night. Cyn gets them home even after a car crash in the middle of the desert. Cyn and Jamie make it home only to find that Jeb is dying and freedom had been killed by a seeker. The caves are full after pain and sorrow. Jamie is in the most pain of all because Cyn is dying. Doc manages to save her but she has lost her memory.  Jamie eventually gets all of the information of their relationship back but none of her past. Lily becomes her best friend and Jamie drags her out on another raid with mel and Jared.  They are attached in the night and Jared
 and Mel are killed. Cyn and Jamie are devistated. They go home with heavy hearts.
