Shen Yan wanted to get close to Lu Yin as soon as they were introduced but Lu Yin was cold to him. Through his tenacity he finally managed to get Lu Yin to live together with him.

Lu Yin is not a human. He also doesn't particularly like being around human beings but he wants to protect his brother and prevent history from repeating itself thus he has no choice but to coexist with them.
They fall in love but the revelation of Lu Yin's true identity could be the undoing of their relationship.
