The Demon's Sanctuary
An au of Damian Wayne and Raven romance. *** Nanda Parbat is destroyed. The League of Assassins is completely massacred, all that remains is the seven year old heir of Talia Al Ghul. On the same night, on a separate planet Rachel Roth, known as Raven on Earth and to the superhero community is struck by nightmares of Damian's life. She vows to find the boy she dreamed of and save him from darkness that she knows all too well. Damian promised something too, to murder everyone that was employed to massacre his family and his home. Time skip ten years in the future and Raven is a member of the teen titans, ward of Clark Kent/ superman while Damian is the world's most effective and dangerous assassin. When the two meet will Raven remember her promise to bring back the boy who lost too much? Will Damian let her in? Or is Damian too far gone? Damian Wayne doesn't understand all this fuss about falling in love. In fact, it's annoying him. All the girls at school keep bothering him, but they're all pretentious and shallow. At home, it's not any better. Children keep running around and interrupting him whenever he's busy with something. When a peculiar girl with a mysterious past comes into their life, Damian is thankful for the distraction. She is quiet, and she doesn't annoy him like everyone else. But she also seems to have her own demons, and for the first time in his life, Damian has found someone who understands him. As they face the demons that haunt her, Damian is forced to face his own demons. And in the process, Damian finally begins to understand what his brothers are all feeling.
