'I'm so tired of being treated this way...' The pink hedgehog thought. She opened her mouth to speak but once again was interrupted by the booming blue hedgehog, "Amy, how many times have I told you! I don't like you like that, I know I led you on, I know. But it meant nothing. I was just having a laugh-"
"A laugh!?" She yelled as tears ran down her cheeks. "Sonic, that isn't funny! It's so... so IDIOTIC!! I'VE LIKED YOU SINCE YOU SAVED ME FROM THOSE KIDS IN ELEMENTARY!" She cried harder, her voice was cracking and the blue blur just stared. He didn't say anything, like there wasn't anything to say, no apology or trying to fix his problem.
"I'm done with you. I'm tired of being treated like this, I know I've tried pestering you to go on millions of dates or being my boyfriend, but it's because I LOVED you.." The blue hedgehog opened his mouth to speak, "Amy, no wait-" but the pink hedgehog was already gone...

"Besides, I don't like you. You know that." Sonic said. "We're just friends, that's all. There's nothing more than that--no strings attached--no feelings whatsoever." Amy Rose teared up. "We're just friends!? You don't like me!" She said. "This is all a joke to you!? You think my feelings are a joke? However, if he finds her again, will she be the same blossoming-loving girl she always was known for? In her mourning time she is visited by her friend Rouge, Rouge comforts her and takes her away from the team to clear her head, in her time away she gets fairly close with Shadow in the mean time her and rouges friendship grows stronger then ever. I'm not really a ShadOuge fan so it'll mostly be about Shadow and Rouge over Amy bc why not) Shadow and Rouge both notice each other's crush on the pink hedgehog and confront each other about it. what happens when they both struggle to figure out what to do and make Amy choose? After sixteen years, Mephiles has returned. Darker and more power hungry...after failing to defeat and kill Shadow, Sonic and the rest of the gang, he Is going to make sure he gets what he wants this time, by using the power of the chaos emeralds,He infects Shadow with a rabies like disease, called Muskiomal which makes Shadow a ruthless cannabalsitic killer at nightfall. Not only does Mephiles turn Shadow into a killer hedgehog, he forces him to take out revenge on not only on on Mobians but the entire universe as well. But only Amy Rose is aware of Shadow's illness after witnessing Shadow consuming human and Mobian remains behind a restaurant dumpster. Amy vows to keep Shadow's condition a secret not only for the safety of Sonic and the gang but for the universe...but if G.U.N finds out the ultimate life form and their top agent as dangerous... it could result in him being held captive, being detained against his will and experimented on as long as possible. Despite the life threatening situation, Shadow and Amy's connection grows closer and closer which ultimately leads to them having an affair which eventually leads them to being together, much to the disdain of not only Sonic, but to the entire group, unfortunately, it later becomes a weakness which will give Mephiles a possible one up against the team Will Amy and the rest of the crew find a cure for Shadow's condition or will he forever be Mephiles' murderous puppet? Tails has been asking questions of why Sonic just doesn't want to admit his true feelings of love towards the fair sakura hedgehog. But one day all of that changed, Sonic finally found out about boys trying to do stuff to Amy and he had enough of their foolishness that something happened to him.
