This is a Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess fanfic. I just started replaying the game again and it is my favorite Zelda game. There's a ship in this game that involves Ilia and Link. That's what this fanfic is about. There will be NO smut (sorry perverted 12-year-olds). Will have intense themes though so you have been cautioned. I hope you enjoy it!!

One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda.
