A girl named Sam Leighton was the only one in her town, Naporia , to survive a deadly virus that was accidently created by scientists. Only being 12 years old at the time she didn't know how to survive out in the real world on her own. Several years past and The newest scientist coming right out of collage in a town called Kelna is sent to Naporia to clean out the lake and see if it is safe to repopulate there. Sam now being 23 years old is well aware that if they find her, then they would experiment on her to find out why she wasn't killed by the virus or the radiation. She attempts to run but the new scientist, Kassy Mason, finds her before she can escape. Kassy knew what would happen to Sam if the others found her so she let her go. Soon after another virus hits and Sam saves Kassy but the other scientists are killed by the virus. Kassy looses contact with the laboratory. Sam is given no choice but to help Kassy get back but she does not wish to get herself attached to the scientist of the same gender. Sam never was clear about her sexuality and was never given a chance to find out until Kassy. Kassy has always been Bisexual and attempts to get sam to develop feelings so she will choose to stay. Sam refuses to give Kassy the satisfaction.

Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people.
