When seventeen-year-old Serena Jennings reluctantly succumbs to peer pressure and takes part in a séance on Halloween, the ritual pulls her into the deepest recesses of The Underworld, A.K.A Hell. But Serena isn't dragged into Hell by accident; Hades has summoned her for a reason.
It's a reason Serena doesn't plan on finding out - her mind is set on one thing and one thing only: escape. Serena only has one chance at returning to her former life, but to do so she must enlist the help of one of Hell's fiercest and most stubborn warriors.
But something in the Underworld is shifting. As Serena becomes increasingly desperate for an escape, the secrets of those close to her may very well tie her to the pits of Hell forever.
