Plead the fifth means to refuse to answer a question, especially in a criminal trial, on the grounds that might incriminate yourself.

When I first started writing this I was definitely less than experienced it gets better. Don't be afraid to tell me about a mistake as long as you aren't outright rude.

I'm gonna be honest I have no idea what to say here. So basically it's an oc/reader insert for the show Carmen sandiego! Oc/reader is Carmens sister. I hope you enjoy reading this as mush as I loved writing it.

This is a Carmen Sandiego fanfic for the official Netflix adaptation. I saw that this fandom didn't have much fan fiction so I decided to write my own. So I really hope you guys like it. I do not own any of the characters except honey.

COMPLETED Carmen's life was turned upside down when her parents were murdered, she moves from town to town before deciding on beacon hills. She has a troubled past and supernatural ability. But ability won't save her from the demons inside her head, even though she is part demon. Sooner or later she will break, she just hopes there's someone there to catch her. Note: contains triggering content (self harm, self mutilation, suicidal scenes/references) + alcohol abuse and drug abuse + smut. First season of teen wolf. THIS IS MY FIRST FIC SO PLEASE DONT BASE MY WRITING SKILLS ON THIS - PLUS ITS SUPER TERRIBLE IDK WHY ITS STILL BEING READ IN 2021 HONESTLY DONT READ IT + I am aware it's littered with grammar n spelling mistakes but it was made literally years ago when I was like 12 or something soo it's super tragic and embarrassing, and the only reason I'm adding this ~warning~ now is cause I'm kinda sick of getting comments about it, (save yourself the brain cells and just don't read in the first place lol trust me) cause I'm not gonna go through and edit out mistakes from a shitty fic I wrote when I was 12 about teen wolf. So pls stop commenting about them as if I will, if you really want to read it so bad for some reason just ignore the mistakes or don't read at all cause I can't be bothered to edit them out ok thanks bye I appreciate the love tho it's just not a good fic at all💀 Also - I know the difference between you're and your and there their and they're now ok pls leave me alone I was 12😭 Read my new stuff if you want actually good writing (sort of idk, see for yourself)🥲✌🏻

(18+ EXPLICIT CONTENT) "Attract a lot of attention, huh beautiful?" His voice hit me like a wall, absurdly catching me off guard. It was deep, sensual, something any girl (or boy) could melt over. I was sort of speechless, yet trying my best to appear unafflicted. "Only the wrong ones." That was definitely drunken me talking, as I didn't usually have that much confidence. His lips twitched up into a smirk, expressing that he understood my comment. "Does that mean that I'm in that category?" My palms began to grow sweaty and my heart rate picked up, but otherwise my body remained relaxed, appearing completely fine. It similar to when you're on autopilot, completely withdrawn due to intoxication. "I suppose not," I crossed my arms, putting on this seductive persona just for him. This fueled his smirk, about to murmur another comment before I cut him off. "You'll have to show me, though." *** Amelia Hollis was a 23-year-old writer at one of the local publishing companies, assisting a very handsome man and writing articles left and right. Her and her best friend, Aviary, lived together in a cute little apartment off the central part of the city, yearning to create new memories and important moments. Amelia always lived for the moments, taking in every little detail and savoring it like it was her favorite meal. She was an optimist, hoping to change peoples lives with her dreams. James Vallette was a 34-year-old CEO, building his company from dirt with the help of his brother. He was a realist, not really having time to deal with dreams or even love. He knew this the night he laid eyes on Amelia. It was only casual; what harm could a one-night stand do? Oh yeah, he's her dad's boss.

Carmen is screwed up. She's been in and out of juvie all her life and seriously there's no place she'd rather be. Until she gets released from juvie unexpectedly, given a probation officer, and forced to live with a normal family and go to a normal school. Carmen doesn't even know the definition of normal. Much less family, or school. Separated from the only system she's known and has stayed constant all her life, she finds it hard to adjust to the world outside the concrete building. The structure and rules aren't the same. In juvie, rules were like opinions, people ignored them. But in the real world, supposedly it wasn't socially acceptable to steal cash, or graffiti the front of the school building. Enter the Harrisons, the family who's taking care of her. The matriarch of the family hates her criminal record. Sammy, the seven-year-old, is too clingy, too innocent, and too naive to understand anything. Then there's Jay, the guy she's forced to share a room with. A self-righteous son of a bitch, Jay doesn't understand Carmen and doesn't understand her self destructive way of thinking. Though he's not bothered by her, he's fascinated with her. The family represents the structure and rules that Carmen doesn't, nor wants to, understand. But as Carmin starts to push back at the structure and rules suddenly rushed into her life, it starts to change. Her whole way of living is thrown off balance, what she deems normal isn't. And through a series of events, she starts to spiral out of control, and she doesn't know if someone can pull her up from that. Carmen was given a second chance, but is it a good chance, or is it just another recipe for getting thrown right back to square one, like she always is? Because second chances don't usually get handed out. And she's about to learn what it means to get a second chance. ____
