Aindar is a world plagued by humans incapable of accepting the land's magical nature and who are suspicious of those among them who can wield its power, the magi. The inevitable battle between magi and those who see them as an evil to be vanquished, permeates the air. It is a foreboding those in support of magi feel, while the non-magi human population choose to ignore it.

Larc Lonnel, a diminutive 18-year-old young woman with dark hair, a boyish figure, and exotic ice blue eyes as her only beauty, has grown weary of living on such a world. Her best friend, Bren Waylen, is a mental magi and her association with him has made her keenly aware of the bigotry on Aindar and how adversely it has affected her oftentimes disquieted companion. A personal struggle with hatred towards her mother-a princess who abandoned her at birth-and love for her father-a commoner who did not even know of his daughter's existence for thirteen years-has consumed her since she learned her origin from her adoptive mother.

Larc's inner dilemma soon becomes entangled with the larger problems on Aindar when a summons arrives for her father. The summons is to an official inquiry regarding events eighteen years in the past, and within the city that is renowned as the center of magi hatred for all of Aindar: Nokar. Refusing to allow Lewis to return to the city of her birth, and unwilling to subject his wife Vrism to the refreshed memory of his affair with Larc's birth mother, Kerika, Larc decides to journey to Nokar on her own and defend her father's name.

As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: This takes place in a timeline where a school year has already passed without the whole Darkstalker drama. Everything else happend including Carnelians death and the whole Icicle being dream visited by scarlet which means scarlet is dead. Also the JW don't know about moons powers. (Peril knows about Turtle being an animus) In other words it's close to Canon but not quite. Also warning that this book contains some cussing every now and then, currently working on getting rid of it. Thanks to @StormingFire555 for the cover design.
