Untitled Ghost Musical

in 2020, at the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic, I started listening to and fell in love with the band ghost. I found out one of their influences was the band abba, and from there stemmed the idea for this musical. abba is well known for many great accomplishments, including the musical mamma mia, which is entirely comprised of abba music. I thought, why not make something like mamma mia, except replace abba with ghost, and the greek islands with 1660's plague-ridden england? and thus, the untitled ghost musical (UGM) was born.

it tells the story of thomasine, a young woman who wants to be a doctor to help those affected by the plague. she runs away from the home of her god-fearing father, who disapproves of her plan for the future. she finds a new town, new people, and a new way of life.
