Shocked can't even begin to describe how I felt when I realized that I was not, in fact, dead. Or maybe I was dead, just not anymore. 

There was this pressure on my abdomen and beneath that a tingling feeling that spread throughout my whole body. 

My eyes felt too heavy to move. I knew they were open but all I could see was a fuzzy outline of the sky above me. 

I managed to lift my arm up a bit and reached toward the source of this feeling on my stomach. I was shocked to feel Ben's hand. I rubbed my thumb along a callus on his palm for a moment, willing my vision to clear and my body to regain its strength.
