A lot of people have a lot of different kinds of powers.  This world is full of amazing people who can bend the laws of nature to do incredible things. My brother and I are two such people. His name is Aang, and he's both the most powerful person I've ever met, and the kindest. The world loves Aang, and for good reason. He's the Avatar. 

I, on the other hand, also hold great power, but mine isn't something to celebrate. I don't hold the spotlight the same way Aang does, but that's okay. I don't need to. I used to think I did, but that's not what my power is for.

This is my story, just as much as it is Aang's. We may have walked separate paths, but we ended up at the same place, fighting for the same thing. To save the world, from those who wish to destroy it.All Rights Reserved

See, if I was to introduce myself in a Japanese or another Asian styled world by my English name....that would be weird.... so I pick a name that I figure fits. Today my name is Amaya. Why? Well, I liked it. And I guess it fits. The name means "Night Rain", and it fits because well, I woke up in the middle of a forest in the middle of the night....and it was raining. Funny how that works huh? Also, I'm a waterbender. Neat right? I guess. But I digress. I should really get to the story right? Well, like I said, it was a rainy night, and I was cold, lost and alone....

Kila is the Avatar's sister. Aang is the Avatar, and she is the mistake. She has no idea of her powers, since Avatars never have any family. What she dose know is that she should have died, many times. She never has. The monks called her a curse and a mistake. Too many times they tried to kill her, but she never died. Soon she realizes that she is able to bend the laws of death. She can bring people back to life, and she can take lives away in an instant. But she can't entirely control it. What happens when she hurts throne she cares about the most? Can she undo the terrible mistake, or is that all she'll ever be-a terrible mistake?

COMPLETED! 'Aya's my angel and I'm never letting her go.' After seeing Azula strike Aang with her lightening, Aya's entire world fell into a black hole. She thought she lost her Avatar, her Aang, but after a miracle happened, Aang was brought back and she felt whole again. The whole world believes that the Avatar is gone and the Fire Nation has conquered Ba Sing Se, but thanks to Aya he is alive. Aya has discovered her true Fire Angel power and has full control over it, along with getting her Fire Wings. Ruka has finally found her long lost daughter and they were reunited after years of being apart. Aya felt joy and relief when she hugged her mother for the first time. Team Avatar has set foot in Fire Nation territory and are in disguise as typical Fire Nation citizens so they can put the invasion plan in action when the solar eclipse arrives. The team has to stay hidden incase someone sees Aang's arrows or Aya's wings. It won't be easy, but things have never been easy for Team Avatar. Aang believes he has to save the world on his own, but he isn't alone, he has his Fire Angel at his side. The Avatar and Fire Angel are not only destined to be with each other but are destined to save the world together. Allies will become enemies and enemies will become allies. With in desperate need of a firebending teacher, Zuko throws away the need of capturing the Avatar and instead assists him in saving the world and teaching him firebending. After almost a year of traveling, fighting, friendship, love, anger, and heartbreak it's time for Team Avatar to save the world and bring peace back to it. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. NOTE: Any characters that do not appear in Avatar: The Last Airbender belong to me. The atla universe belongs to the creators.

Until the night guards came to our house, demanding my father come with them. I was only five at the time, hiding behind my mother as the Fire Nation guards tried to take my father. I remember everything that happened that night. First there was shouting, voices ringing angrily through the house. Then came the fighting. The guards attempting to take him by force; my father fighting back. Mother grabbed me and my brother, taking us outside to avoid the flames being thrown around our home. I strained against her, desperate to get to father, who's screams could be heard from inside. My mother forced me to stay put as she ran back to the house to help father. Neither of them came back. He told me to stay hidden while he went to check things out and I didn't move until the house collapsed. My brother never returned. It was then, I was determined to get revenge, to take down the Fire Nation for taking my family away from me. My name is Mari and I will see to it that the Fire Nation burns.
