A lot of people have a lot of different kinds of powers. This world is full of amazing people who can bend the laws of nature to do incredible things. My brother and I are two such people. His name is Aang, and he's both the most powerful person I've ever met, and the kindest. The world loves Aang, and for good reason. He's the Avatar.
I, on the other hand, also hold great power, but mine isn't something to celebrate. I don't hold the spotlight the same way Aang does, but that's okay. I don't need to. I used to think I did, but that's not what my power is for.
This is my story, just as much as it is Aang's. We may have walked separate paths, but we ended up at the same place, fighting for the same thing. To save the world, from those who wish to destroy it.

The Avatar and Fire Angel are not only destined to be with each other but are destined to save the world together. Allies will become enemies and enemies will become allies. With in desperate need of a firebending teacher, Zuko throws away the need of capturing the Avatar and instead assists him in saving the world and teaching him firebending.
