A lot of people have a lot of different kinds of powers.  This world is full of amazing people who can bend the laws of nature to do incredible things. My brother and I are two such people. His name is Aang, and he's both the most powerful person I've ever met, and the kindest. The world loves Aang, and for good reason. He's the Avatar. 

I, on the other hand, also hold great power, but mine isn't something to celebrate. I don't hold the spotlight the same way Aang does, but that's okay. I don't need to. I used to think I did, but that's not what my power is for.

This is my story, just as much as it is Aang's. We may have walked separate paths, but we ended up at the same place, fighting for the same thing. To save the world, from those who wish to destroy it.All Rights Reserved

Heimat: a place that you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland A decade has passed after the final battle between the Avatar and the Fire Nation, a decade after the defeat of their Fire Lord. It is a time of prosperity for most, but the crimes commited during the war couldn't be reversed. Benders were taken away from their families, people were slaughtered, their belongings, homes and land taken away. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. NOTE: Any characters that do not appear in Avatar: The Last Airbender belong to me. The atla universe belongs to the creators.

Soon she realizes that she is able to bend the laws of death. She can bring people back to life, and she can take lives away in an instant. But she can't entirely control it. Five years have passed since the defeat of Phynix King Ozai. The Avatar and his friends have been invited by Firelord Zuko as guests for the five year anaversery of the end of the 100 year war. Although peace has been achived for some time now. Theres no doubt others would perfer to be at war. And when unbalance comes knocking. The avatar must awnser. But just like peace of nations can be broken into bitter rivalry. So can familys. And when both is disturbed. Can the avatar balance both. Or will one or the other, maybe both... slip? New chapter whenever really. Usually a week. Sometimes two a week, sometimes one every other week. Chapters usually very in size. From 2000-4500 words usually. Some special chapters can be about 8000 or more. I never stop updating the chapters. So dont worry if a chapter takes too long. I wont quit this project. And if I do I will let you know swiftly. But that wont happen cause I wont quit. But be sure to bookmark so you can get updates and leave comments saying what you liked and didnt like in the chapter. If I want to improve im gonna need cryticism.

Only a select few know this as they are apart of a special group not tied to one nation, they are the White Lotus.
