Thousands and thousands of years ago, 8 Kingdoms arose from the ashes. Masses of land divided by oceans, seas, mountains and forests. And with these 8 Kingdoms arose 8 Gods. One God for each Kingdom. Together, they were called The Ones. And after The Ones, came Karlayns and Karklyns. Half-creatures and half-humans. They were submited to the Gods and later on the Kings and Queens. And those who did not obey them were doomed to the living hell. The 8 Kingdoms lasted thousands and thousads of years. Nu Moi Dur, Brlur, Mui Dan Fur, Iqueris, Ayevkar, Stuinia, Eprosal and Uscilla. Kings and Queens ruled, survived and thrived. Wars tore down whole lands and killed more men than one can count. And for years, the Kingdoms lived in peace.

And when Maylea Wun, only daughter of the King and Queen of Nu Moi Dur, the Dragon Kingdom, takes the throne after her parents' passing, the Kingdoms fall into a pit of chaos. The 8 Kingdoms are at one single step from falling back into another Grand War, a war that would not be worth it. And inside that war, all hell will break loose. Passing of loved ones, collapse of Kingdoms, atrocious battles of Karklyns and manipulations made by Karklayns. All and nothing will be threatened. And it would all start the moment the crown of Nu Moi Dur lands on Maylea's head, the moment a blind theft happened, the moment a Karklayn looked up, the moment a murder of an innocent was commited, the moment a Karklyn felt, the moment a forbidden love emerged, these were all of the moments who led the 8 Kingdoms into their chaos and despair.

43 parts Complete Mature
Twelve-hundred years ago, the first king of Sacreon led a rebellion against an empire of witches. The war for who would rule next continues to this day. A false guise of peace came over Ert after two genocides, but there is no one so foolish as to claim the fighting is done. A prophecy claims that war will return to Ert when the moons are full once again on Ascenday. That day is growing closer now, and there is not a fool in the warring nations who does not dread its coming. In the midst of this all, the heirs to Sacreon struggle to find their place in this world of kings and knights and gods and elves and witches. A princess falls for someone she cannot hope to have, prince travels south to broker an alliance, a warrior seeks vengeance for the death of her sister. and the heir to a long forgotten kingdom quests for glory. Behind all of this, one man journeys north to an island of long forgotten magic with plans of justice, and The Wolf Witch goes west, searching for the one who can stop this war and unite Ert once again: The Silver Girl. Note: The Wolf Witch is meant to be a prequel to this book, and Sora will make an appearance, but she will not be a main character. By the way I take huge inspiration and influence from A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones so if you like that you'll probably like this (and my other writings I hope). Cover created by the most excellent @apprehensiveanne. It's very cool.
Rise of Fire: Dragons Reborn [COMPLETED] by RosaleeRain
49 parts Complete Mature
The world had long since forgotten the age of dragons, those creatures that had once ruled the skies as gods had long since disappeared after the conclusion of the Great Demon Wars. Dragons became nothing more than a fading legend, a story to tell children at bedtime. But the gods could not let the dragons die, for they were the last defense against the demon armies and the dark god Vekkar. Talia had been born and raised in a world of darkness acting as an agent of Hephatus, goddess of assassins and death. She knew only a life of killing, sometimes for justice, sometimes for honor, always for money. Her morals were opaque at best. But when she's deployed to the city of Arboros she finds herself thrust into a world of political games, opposing powers, and constant threat. Nowhere was safe even for her. Her goals became muddied, and then lost altogether when she meets the Dwarven Prince. Bromyr had spent the last five years of his life chasing ghosts, desperate to find the lost dragon eggs. His people thought him crazy, his father stripped him of his titles, but he never gave up. Eventually his effort bore fruit and he hastily made way to return to his homeland only to get caught up in the city of Arboros. It was there that he met an intriguing half-giant, a woman who ignited a fire everywhere she went. In the end she was the one who inadvertently brought about the new age of dragons. What could go wrong when an ill tempered assassin becomes the first dragon rider of a new age? ***Cover made by annie1loves1you***

Daffodils and Hyacinths (Book 3 of the Forgotten Truths Series) by Contrastgaze
29 parts Complete Mature
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!

He made me believe... (READ STORY DESCRIPTION!!!)

29 parts Complete Mature

UPDATE!!!!: This is a very old book I wrote and upon rereading it, I hate it. :). The plot's a bit crap, the characters make little to no sense, I cringe at every other line, Y/N is the biggest pick me girl and it hurts my soul, and the writings not that great either. So I'm rewriting it. If this book sounds interesting to you, please read the other updated version that won't make you want to rip your own eyes out (hopefully). It's still called 'He made me believe...' but it has '(UPDATED)' in the title so please read that one instead so I can sleep better at night. However, I'm not taking this story down (for the moment anyway) so if you really want to you can read it but don't say I didn't warn you. <3 Y/N x hiccup fanfic. She hated dragons. He loved dragons. How will this story unfold as romance, drama and fear sweeps the island of Berk? Will they take control or will all they've built fall apart? This is a story I wrote out of boredom. It is a HTTYD story. I'm not a great writer but I had fun writing it and that's all that matters. To anyone reading this, I hope you enjoy! :)
