-Los padres de Benn murieron en un accidente unos 3 meses después del nacimiento de su hermanita, por lo que el se encargó de cuidar de Karla toda su vida, bueno no toda, ya que un grupo de protección infantil los separó para que ambos vayan a distintos orfanatos, Benn había escapado poco después, y cuando cumplió los 12 años, logró sacar a su hermanita del lugar donde la habían llevado y volvieron a estar juntos.
