William Adams has already had a first-year at college, but after an incident at the school, he and his family moved away from the area, in search for a fresh start. So here he is, restarting the first year in a new college.

After everything, all he wants is to keep his head down and make it through the first year and hopefully into the second. He just wants to go to class, make a friend or two and live without looking over his shoulder.

But sometimes the past has a horrible way of following you, no matter how much you try to hide it. No matter how much you try to move forward, there is always someone who can't let the past just be.

But William's secret isn't one he's ashamed of, not at all. He has never hurt anyone, never bullied, lied or cheated. His past is just painful. He isn't ashamed, he's scared.

He wants a fresh start, a chance to be happy, but there is always someone who wants to ruin that.

ORION GRAVES has always been on top. A straight-A, high honors student. Top of his class on the path to valedictorian and an Ivy League school. Until suddenly, that all changes. Orion was outed as transgender at his old school, and became victim to relentless harassment. Not to mention that in June of his junior year, his mother lost her battle with cancer. Now, he must move in with his father-whom he hasn't seen since his parent's divorce when he was 8. Moving all the way from Red, California to Lakeview, Maine, he has to start from the very beginning. But, as he starts his senior year in a brand-new school he tries to keep his transgender identity under the radar, and he's quick to learn that it's not going to be easy to get back on top. Because there's Caleb. CALEB MITCHELL, the star child of Lakeview. Honored for being so well-rounded he probably shouldn't get too close to a hill. Not only that, but he's nice. And funny. And surprisingly good-looking. To Orion, he's impossible to dislike, despite him taking the place of valedictorian. Orion was only ever good for his brains. He's never had anything else. Yet now he's scared that he'll have to lose that too. ---------- Chapter 19 Release: Tuesday, January 28 Chapter 20 Release: Friday, January 31 Chapter 21 Release: Tuesday, February 4 Cover and story by me, @ilovegaydinosaurs / @coolsaige Official Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2XONF7xeRhcFwDBWpbxmsB?si=7s4Whhq-RlewQIiya3UwQw

**ORIGINAL VERSION, NO LONGER ACTIVE BUT COMPLETED** *spoilers if you are reading current version* Jake Mitchell wanted nothing more than to be the nameless guy you pass on the way to your afternoon chemistry lecture every Friday. Familiar, but unknown at the same time. Just enough recognition to remember, but knowing so little that you make up stories for him in your head. That's the only reason he took the offer from Everett University to be a left-wing forward on their Division 1 hockey team. A forgotten team really. Dead last in their league and close to dead last in the division. It was just something to help pay the tuition, but nothing much to get any recognition. He gets to keep playing hockey, he can afford to go to an out-of-state school, and he can remain unknown. It's his perfect game plan. Or well it was. Until the worst possible series of events happens. The team wins their first game in 13 years, shocked fans catch Jake talking to a popular pro player after a game, and an unfortunate tweet blows up. All leading to Jake's face being plastered on every Twitter feed, Instagram story, and social media outlet that you can think of. His worst nightmare comes to life in real time. Now with the help of his team, he has to figure out how to deal with his newfound fame while trying to get his bachelor's in chemical engineering and win as many damn hockey games as he possibly can before time runs out and he has to run again. Except, maybe this time he won't have to.

𓆏 Highest Rank: #1 in LGBTfantasy [This story was inspired by @junebugs.n.scones' OC TikTok series, also know as @actualtrash402 on Wattpad!] 𓆏 Sampson Whittager hasn't lived with his grandparents in over ten years, but when his father dies of a mysterious illness and his mother falls ill due to her grief, he and his siblings have to make the tough decision of selling the family farm and moving back to the town of Wisteria Willows. With Sampson soon to turn eighteen, starting public school for the first time, and having to work on the farm to help his grandparents and earn his keep, he doesn't have time to be stressing over silly, childish things. At least, that's what he keeps trying to tell himself in the midst of strange happenings; recurring dreams from his childhood have come back full-force, people are going missing in the woods surrounding his town, and a strange yet charming boy has quite literally fallen into his life and caused quite a stir. Sampson's life is a fragile egg, and all he can do is try to balance it in the spoon that is his fate. It's much harder than it sounds. 𓆏
