In the space of a few hours, Harley Sawyer's world is turned upside down. The virus spreads quickly, turning more people into mindless, bloodthirsty creatures. After narrowly escaping the school, the group realizes the infection has spread beyond their school, threatening the entire world. Along the way, they find another survivor. Determined to understand what caused the outbreak, they return to the school to search for answers. Inside, they enter a classroom where they discover what caused this terrifying plague.

It starts with a simple itch, nothing more. Maybe a few random spasms or the occasional shudder but you'll think nothing of it. Then you'll get blood shot eyes... Not enough sleep? It gets worse, much worse. The itching turns to scratching, clawing at you skin until it bleeds... and bleeds and bleeds. Then comes the anger which tips you over the top making you brake into a full blown seizure. Madness. You still with me? Well you won't be if they catch you, you'll be one of them...infected.

Quinn's final year of high school should've been her easiest one. But suddenly instead of focusing on her classes, she has to focus on staying alive. People she knows are infected and turned into flesh eating undead after a virus spreads rapidly through the world. Quinn can only watch her home fall into chaos as the city becomes overrun with the infected. As the world is claimed by the undead and hostile survivors, she is forced to learn how to survive.
