Maya Jean is a 18 year old senior at West View Highschool. She longs for those perfect relationships she reads about in books, but when her father dies from heart disease she has to put all hope for finding love aside to focus on getting scholarships for UCLA.
Oscar Jackson is a 20 year old freshman at UCLA who has had a run in with nearly every school official on campus. The only thing keeping him on campus is his need to grow up and his rich girlfriends father who is the dean of the University.
No one expected a love like this to take place between Maya and Oscar, but one night at a college party two hearts find each other and must go through hell to make things work.
How will things work out with a smart Highschool senior and an obnoxious college freshman?
Will Maya be able to put aside her feelings to focus on the future her father wanted for her?
