Eltaire

Bounded by the barren wasteland of a world war, the lone surviving elemental nation of Eltaire sustains itself by designating each of the 4 elemental divisions its own trade. Here, air stands for intelligence, water for medicine, earth for agriculture, and fire for the military. So when nihilistic 15-year-old Cleo's element finally surfaces, such celebration calls for nothing less than grieving, praying, and denial. Well, according to Cleo at least. How else could a sheepish hopeless girl survive in a world of the element she hates the most? A world of warriors, violence, and her very own tormentor.
