It's been two years now, since it happened. Since he lost the most important person to him. Furious with the gods, Percy has separated himself from his life as a demigod, and is now attending a mortal college. He has friends, decent grades, much less frequent monster attacks (thanks, Hades), an adorable baby sister, and even has a girlfriend. But when he meets someone from his past, he realizes there might be a chance of something he's been wishing for for the past two years. That she was still alive.

Annabeth's whispering as it really, truly sets in, "I almost lost my best friend. I almost lost my best friend." She feels Percy tighten his arms around her and she presses her lips together, suppressing another sob. She's cried enough - she's tired of it. "I'm sorry," he says. or, Percy gets hurt. The war did affect both of them, mentally and physically. As hard as they try to lead a normal life, things always seem to escalate and they come face to face with monsters. But the latest events made monster attacks look like sparring challenges. Annabeth and Percy are enjoying an evening at the beach when red alert is sounded. Seems like a camper has gone missing. Who? But it is not only about a missing camper. Turns out it is not at all about a missing camper. This is something deeper, which will bring Percabeth more closer to death than they have ever been..... Will they ever get out of this quagmire? Or get tangled in the strings if their own fate.... Controlled by Gaia....

The original title was "Percabeth Neighbors" but I changed it :D Annabeth Chase has always been abused. Her father more or less ignores it, or pretends his wife is just a perfect angel. Annabeth has seen things nobody else has, including scars and blood worthy of a murder scene. Nobody seems to want to help her. Percy Jackson just got a restart, but was his new life actually better? Bad luck struck his family, friends, and even his little sister. His grades slip, and dark thoughts seep into his mind. There's no way he'll survive with the harm he's facing. When the two bond over a shared experience and finally get together, will their problems be fixed? Or will the two face even more diversity than before?

Years after the Giant War, things are going well. The 7 are all happy, the camps, while they still hate each other, no longer want the other dead. Things are looking up for Annabeth and I. But, the life of a demigod is never easy. Shortly after proposing and getting married, Annabeth and I are forced to split apart to protect some of the gods. The 7 are divided among the Olympians as protectors, along with a few of the older campers to fill in the spaces, in threat of a new war. Only issue is, no one knows who were fighting. And, worse than even that, I get stuck with Artemis.
