Portgas D. Ash is Ace Twin sister, (I know that Aces mother suggested Ann but it's just I preferred it ash, but it depends on you all) Ash and Ace has been through thick in thin, but Ash was left devistated when she lost his biological brother in the war because of this she keeps moving forward with a hesitate in her.

But before Ace died, Ace made her a promise, which she will carry it as Ace's will.

So After two years she continued her journey and proceeded her promise with Ace.

Ace's will was to make Ash leave the whitebeard pirates and join her little brother's crew and protect him and see him fufilll his dream in Ace's Stead.
