I crossed my arms, leaning against the counter opposite him. "Actually, I was thinking my bed."
His grin widened. "Oh, so bold, Mr. Hemmings. What will Caleb think?"
"We'll explain it in the morning," I said.
Ashton took a step closer, his hands finding my hips. "You sure you're ready for that? Once I stay over, I might never want to leave."
"That's a risk I'm willing to take," I murmured, leaning in until our noses brushed.
"Good," he whispered before kissing me again, his lips warm and soft, sending a shiver down my spine.
We barely made it to the bedroom before Ashton tugged me down onto the bed, his laugh low and breathy as he pinned me under him. "So, do I have to earn my keep tonight, or is this part of the boyfriend package?"
"You're insufferable," I said, pulling him down for another kiss.
"And yet, you love it," he teased, his lips moving to my neck.
