Follow the lives of Dawnfire and her family in Riverclan, countless moons after Firestar's death. The Clans have grown large, too large for their own good. As the supply of food and herbs dwindles, leaders become increasingly greedy and paranoid, disease flares throughout the Clans, and the warrior code becomes twisted beyond recogniton. A few cats begin to wonder...how much longer can the Clans survive?
