Hermione Granger is approaching her 6th year at Hogwarts. The atmosphere is thick with the impending war. As her friends become busy with their responsibilities, and their distractions, she finds herself alone. Due to the professor's efforts to promote inter-house unity, she continuously finds herself in the company of, non-other, Draco Malfoy. The only problem is that Draco is wildly out of character, his normal aggression has turned into a dull presence. Their time together becomes an escape for them both, but will their relationship become more than a distraction?
