Blissful Ignorance
This will likely a short story but I think I will aim to get more detailed in descriptions of things. They say Ignorance is blissful but that isn't always true for those that have to deal with the issues that others are ignorant of. The others are ignorant of how impactful their words can be, that doesn't mean the other side of the story isn't unaffected though. UA was meant to be better. They were meant to be less ignorant of the world's problems since they are aiming to be heroes! So why does it hurt so much? The past always catches up to you even when you don't want it to. What if they wanted to live a normal life without the unique vision of seeing what the average citizen cannot? What if they cared not to be dragged into a life involving inhumane beings, and just studied for a job they yearned for, for the rest of their life? Unfortunately, wants cannot always be haves, for this young student at Kamome Gakuen cannot escape the life of a person with seeing eyes. It all started with a school mystery, his assistant, an exorcist, and somebody who wanted nothing to do with the apparition life in the first place. A shame none of them could get what they want. Twilight... --- Kageyama Kazuma is a 16 year old boy, aspiring to follow his late father's footsteps, and become a hero who saves people. But... Not all can go as planned, or wished, right? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Friends? Love? Hardships? That's for you to find out.
