The Legend of the Batbark Woods

It is only a few days until Halloween when Miles's little sister, Katrina, vanishes without a trace. In the midst of an increasing number of strange occurrences and disappearances, Miles ventures into the nearby forest with his best friend, Randall, and pledges to find his sister before it is too late. He doesn't know what to expect; he certainly wasn't expecting Batbark.

What Miles and Randall find in the woods turns out to be much bigger than either of them could ever have fathomed, and what started as a simple search-and-rescue mission becomes something else entirely. This is the Legend of the Batbark Woods.

Hey, there! If you are reading this, thank you so much for taking the time to check out my work! As of right now I only have the prologue written and posted for this story, but I am trying to write more (emphasis on trying) and I would very much like to post more as this story is actually based off of a tale I made when I was a little kid, and I've rewritten that tale numerous times. Hopefully, this will be the time where I get it off the ground.

Like I said, only the prologue is up right now, but please tell me what you think of it, and I'd be happy to write more as soon as my writers block goes away!
