This is the first draft of my 'Hero's Journey' for my creative writing class, It is a story about a girl named Luca Couture, it's set roughly in the Mafia era in France. This is just a first draft and any critisism is accepted. There may be quite a few mistakes, but if people like this story, I may post more the stories I've written in my creative writing class.

The Mafia's Mercy
The darkness in his eyes, the dangerous smell of alcohol in his breath, and his deathly grip keeping me bound to him made my heart pound in my chest and my body quiver beneath him. Shamefully, it wasn't anything that I wasn't used to, because...the things I let him do to me? When he was frustrated, annoyed, and angry at the world, I was here to be his pound of flesh. I take slow strides closer to him, he struggles to break loose from the chair he's tied to but it's just a waste of time. I'm now very close to him, my knees brushing his shaky ones. I place one leg on the side of the chair he's seated on and pull out a pistol from my waistband. I look into his hazelnut eyes for his reaction. scared, confused, just the reaction I was dying for. I grabbed my glass, sliding hers to her and taking a long drink as she hesitantly reached out to take her glass. I watched her staring at the brown liquid in the glass, looking to be debating.
