I walked on stage, wiping my sweaty palms down the front of my dress. Thank god I wore flats or else my clumsy ass would've tripped.
"Eve Taylor?"
My throat felt dry. I quickly gulped and wiped my hands one more time.
"Yea- Yes that's me."
"Perfect. Now who is this, and why did you choose them to use for your work?"
I looked at my painting. Just taking it in another time. I looked down at my feet and smiled, knowing there was too much to say about the blue eyed boy on my canvas. I kept it short, answering the lady's question to give her all the information she needed about him.
"This is the man who saved my life. This is Lucas Adler, my best friend and-"
Was I really going to say it out loud? It's not like he's here to even hear me or anything but I've never said that to anyone.
