Elliot Grey, a now 15 ( going on 16 ) year old male high-school Sophmore, an (A+ ) student that has a contagious laugh and smile that no one could ever forget who also has many more acquaintances than friends. Looking past all the giggles of joy lies a soul that is truly broken emotionally. Adopted into his now more accepting family after being evicted from his own ( The Innings' ) and put up for adoption because of his sexuality: Gay. A label that was introduced to him years before he was forced to "come out" to his immediate family. The offender: his older sibling Oscar Innings, had been and has always been, an excessive bully in his life, but never had he gone to such lengths to express his distaste for his younger brother.

Present-day, Elliot, now a student at Phoenix Drop High, living life hiding his anxiety and insecurities behind a smile... But one guy finds a way to push his buttons and is possibly his only rival/frenemy: Nevin Zenitte. Also, a high-school Sophmore who has always been Elliot's frenemy throughout middle-school and high-school. Yet being a pain in the back, Elliot also secretly admired Nevin.
