Peridot is an engineer with multiple jobs, Lapis is a part-time paleontologist and a part-time server. They live in the same apartment building with a broken elevator, will the two be friends or enemies? Will the elevator ever get fixed? Only time will tell. Rated M for later on mentions of abuse and noncon elements. (involving Jasper) this story has turned out to be quite the opposite of what I intended it to be. I'm really bad at this.
