Noctis-Dies Labs is known for its research on space, time, and travel. When they make a breakthrough in time-travel, they advertise for a test subject. The future might not be what you think.
This is *not* a fanfiction, this is just a short story I made. All the characters are fictional, so if you see your name, that is a coincidence. If this gets a lot of attention, I'll write a second story.

The Devourer (A Highschool DxD Fanfic)
With the impossible size of the universe, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is life beyond just humans out there. Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived. Almost since the beginning of the universe itself has it existed; a biological monster that would destroy and consume anything in its path. Planets, asteroids, entire stars even; whatever got in this things way wouldn't stay in the way for very long. It was a repetitive existence until one day the abomination met its match in the form of an absolutely enormous star. It ended with a draw that sent the abomination rocketing off in a random direction away from the place it had been consuming for so long. It traveled for millions upon millions of years before finally coming to a stop just outside of some odd new planet brimming with life. Along the way through space, it gained awareness of its surroundings so it was now able to choose what to do with this odd planet. Consume or Explore . . . No one would picture themselves meeting an actual time traveler; let alone Doc and Marty. A ten year old such as me would only fantasy about it. Science Fiction can have its kicks and pro's at some aspects, but this is truly out of this world. (Warning: May contain mischaracterizations!) It all began in the lonely silent night of April 1st, 12:00: countless portals suddenly came out of nowhere, anywhere and anytime. Random people around the world suddenly gained memories of a distant past -- but such those memories are the memories of their past lives! Each portals leads to different universes; and they were aptly called as "Bridgeways". Those bridgeways would disappear anytime. And since the portals is connected to the other universes, multiuniversal war is inevitable. Empires of different eras, of different timelines, different universes, they waged war each other as if it was their one and only logical reasoning to do so. Humanity's answer? The selected group of individuals who were reported to have memories of their past life, in other words: they are called "reincarnators" -- individuals who possess memories of their past incarnations and are able to utilizes abilities from their past incarnations without having their form changing back to their previous incarnations. Together with reincarnators, they fight, they scream, they bled, they conquer, they raged, they celebrated, they survived..... and they lived.

Ever since that fateful day, when the long bloody war between the Sirens and Azur Lane ended, with Azur Lane being the victor. The Sirens remained quiet for many decades. Until recently, we learned that they achieved something no one thought was possible. They created a timeline teleportation device. Commonly known as a "time jumper". A device that allows the impossible to become possible, time travel. We believe they intend to go back in time to the middle of the war they lost, taking advanced tech along with them, to change the future of humanity in their favor. So we at Eagle Union have been working hard to counter this new issue. After working relentlessly, struggling to create a piece of technology many generations ahead of our current time. We have finally created our own time jumper, capable of simultaneously sending multiple warships back in time. We will be sending one carrier, one cruiser, and three destroyers to complete this sensitive task. The task of preventing the Sirens from erasing the existence of humanity. There was a fleet led by the named carrier after the first founder of the empire, MGS Karliana Mauser, but facing overwhelming forces by the colonies. It ultimately led to a devastating defeat which leads to the devastation of Asteria by the colonies. The mistake was soon realized by the colonies who wept seeing their homeworld origin devastated by their own hands.
