After the fall of the Empire, the New Republic has done its best to ensure peace and justice throughout the galaxy. 

Now, with the rise of the First Order from empirical ashes, the very peace the Rebels fought for all those years ago is at stake. 

Captain Gideon Oswald is a woman who is very good at getting what she wants... that is, she's good at being paid to get what other people want. She's been one of the biggest deal makers in the galaxy over the last few years, where she's not only made a name for herself, but has made a lot of unwanted enemies.

After getting hired by the First Order to acquire the location of the Resistance's new Headquarters, Gideon is pulled into the very thing she's been trying to avoid: her past, and the war. 

However, there's a lot more to this war than meets the eye.

Snoke's arrival bids more than his wrath for failure, it also brings a new face, or rather mask, to the Knights of Ren. Secrets that have stayed in the shadows will come to light with their master's arrival and ghosts from the past will keep appearing, warning and trying to guide those who are lost to bring them back to the light. Whether Snoke allows that or not isn't hard to tell, he will do anything to keep his prized warriors, even if that means killing them so the light side of the Force loses them as well. Powerful players have entered the scene and it is only a matter of time before chaos reins once more.
