An Alternate Universe Steven Universe fanfic that takes place after the 1st  Gem Rebellion. Gem Strain 35 S-J-6, called  "Aquamarine-35", or just "Aqua" or "35" for short, is part of the 30th Strain Squad, also called the Crystal Vanguard. Four of them remain, and the Crystal Gems have tasked them with looking over Mesoamerica. During this time, 35 chooses to record her experiences and memories.
I don't own Steven Universe.
Also, yes the name Crystal Vanguard is a reference to Destiny, albeit it was unintentional at first.
