    Lance is starting his first year of high school in a totally different state, and he hates it. His friends, his extended family,  nearly everyone he's grown up with are on the other side of America. 
    Keith has gotten a fresh start just in time. Finally out of an unsupportive household and free to transition, he can finally be seen as himself, as Keith, not the persona and expectations built up after so many years.
