Reunited in NYC

Sasha and Adi spent their high school summers together, idly lazing by the pool. The summer was the only time the best friends were in the same country. Their last summer together was the hardest, because feelings of the unknown kind were coming up. When Adi left for university in the U.S., both of them knew there was something unfinished. The next year was filled with confessions and fallouts, ending with the two not speaking to each other again.

Fast forward to the present: Adi is an investment banker in NYC, and Sasha just got out of law school. She also runs a successful bakery in Mumbai, but when she is offered the job of her dreams in NYC, she decides to move her life there. She hasn't heard from or about Adi in five years. But what she also doesn't know: Adi works in the same building.

With a meddling family that ships the two of them secretly, it was inevitable that their paths would cross once again. They don't get off to a good start. Six years ago, they were reluctant about long-distance relationships. But what will happen now that they live in the same neighbourhood, and their lives are intertwined?
