Born in the Western Air Temple, Zoa was suddenly taken away by the monks of the Southern Air Temple. During her childhood Zoa was housed, raised and educated to become the next airbending master. She was under the guidance by Monk Gyatso. At the age of 11, she became one of the youngest and first ever female airbending master in history. Along the way, she meets and befriends Aang.
