"Mike, please, never leave me," her voice called out, quietly.
Her face was flushed red from being outside in the cold, but also from crying.
Mike slowly walked up to her small figure and engulfed her in a hug.
She shoved her face into the crook of his neck, breathing in his scent, while melting into his arms at the same time.
"S, your the best thing that's ever happened to me. Please don't cry, I can help you."
"That's the thing Mikey, you can't, nobody can,"
Mike tried his hardest to keep his tears in, then his pumpkin started to shake, making it the last straw for him.
Tears started to stream down his face at the thought of someone taking away the person who means everything to him.
His emotions got the better of him, and finally he broke, and he realised that Sammy was worth breaking for.
He was going to do everything for her, fight to keep the person he loves.

She ran through the woods, looking behind her every chance she could. He couldn't have found her, how did he know who she was, even El didn't.
If she didn't fall in love, if she stayed hidden always from the really world, this wouldn't have happened. She got to comfortable, and she shouldn't have.
Sam ran and ran, even when her legs begin to burn and she felt like she was about to fall or trip.
She was terrified, even if she tried to fight them off, there would be too many.
Now she had really screwed up.

The sick that had been clawing its way up Mikes throat dropped with a sudden jolt of fear that felt like a cold hand tying a painful knot in his stomach, making him feel queasy and paralyzed. A cool end of a pistol was placed at the bottom of his spine, slowly trailing it way up to upper back. His breath increased rapidly. Lips gently pressed against his ear and spoke rasping - 'Don't try anything like that again, you got that' or based off " believe me", purely to spread awareness! but with mike as the victim and showing how much things can change in a matter of seconds.... this ofc will not be exactly accurate to the story and everyone is alive in this fic and mike has just turned 15 so in between s3 and s4 . Please let me know of any improvements or suggestions.

George and Nicole Harper had never had an easy life. From one set of divorced parents to another, these half siblings have had it tough. Ever since their mother, Naomi, split from George's father and forced them to move from England back to her home town of Hawkins, Indiana, their life had gone from bad to worse. But Nick is determined to give her younger brother the life she never had and is prepared to work her butt off to provide for him (seeing as their absent mum won't). But Nick never signed up for missing children, demogorgon attacks and having to save the world. Just as George had started to make friends, everything fell apart. Nick had always been protective of her brother, but how can she protect him now? AN: This will end up being a Steve x OC fic but I don't want to rush his character arch (which was so well done in the series). I'm also not going to focus on romantic relationships as I think it's important to explore familial love and relationships too (plus George is like 12 and I can't be doing with people shipping 12 year olds).Complete
