Imagine being able to help people before the terrible things happened. What if you could rush to someone's aid before anything dangerous could happen. You could sense where the kidnapped girl's cries were coming from. You could talk someone out of suicide before they could open the bottle of pills or stand on that bridge. What if you had the power to hear people's cries for help? People that were miles awayfrom you with noone else there. Imagine that you had the powers to do this, but nobody believed you. Often, once you got to the person that needed help, it was too late because you had no way of getting to them in time. People would get curious of why you were always there at the perfect time to discover the body. People would get suspicious. This is what Cassidy has to go through just about every day. Hearing people's cries constantly with no way to get to them to help. If she can't help people, will she lose the ability to help herself as well?

I stare at him for a while before I have to turn away from his hungry gaze. "Look I just came here to tell you that I forgive you for what you did back in Cali and I'll take you back," "You forgive me?" I yell. "I did nothing to you. You raped me! You fucking raped me! You have no right to come here and tell me that. You. Forgive. Me. You traumatized me. What you did to me tore me up inside and was eating away at me until I tried to kill myself. And when I told people they didn't believe me. I had to listen to so many people talk about how great a guy you were and how I clearly just regretted sleeping with you. You are a monster. You made me hate myself for something that was never my fault. You have caused me so much pain and suffering," I pause to take a deep breath. "So you don't get to come here to my school and tell me you forgive me. You don't get to make me feel bad about coming forward. The only thing I regret is ever thinking you were a good person." _____________________________________________ Logan Young is a 16-year-old girl about to start her senior year in a brand new town. Trapped. No past, no name-only fragments of faces and voices remain. Strangely, she remembers her classmates, yet her own identity is a void. But they are not as she recalls. Their faces, their mannerisms, their very essence-changed. Twisted. Still, she clings to them, for they are her only link to the truth. "This is a school... but why is it always dark? Why does no one leave?" "We're trapped. Can't you see that?" She must escape. She wants to escape. But stepping outside alone is unthinkable. The unknown waits beyond these walls, and survival is uncertain. She searches for her classmates-only to realize they are few. "Only a few of us survived." Fear coils around her mind. Isolation. Dread. Desperation. The weight is unbearable. Exhaustion takes her, and when she wakes-she is back where she started. But this time, she is not alone. A figure stands before her. Unfamiliar, yet they gaze at her with knowing eyes. "Do you want to get out of here? Together?"
