Meet Maxine Turner, a girl who seems sweet, and polite. But Maxine is anything but sweet. Shes arrogant and self defensive. She's the schools best football player, being the only girl on the team. The literal definition of the word 'tomboy' and so goes by the name 'Max'.
Then we have Jack Hudson, a boy who's been through anything you can imagine. He blocks everyone out and spends most of his time alone. But that doesn't stop him from being a total heartthrob and a tease.
When Max meets Jack, they automatically feel a connection, some electricity. But Jack feels scared, not wanting to let anyone in. Max is broken and so is Jack. Will the two help each other heal, or break each other even more ?
