It's 2020, and humanity has made a breakthrough as now a few humans are now being gifted with abilities everyone has once seen through novels. It is known that about a small fraction of the world are gifted with this perk, and Starlight is one of them. The small fraction, she states is actually more than people believe. Her group of friends, Toki, Coriander, and Hinata are also some of these gifted people. Others may believe this means people treat them differently, but to be honest, they're treated just like normal people. When a mysterious danger falls over to Starlight's city, it's her decision whether or not she'd play hero along with other unknown people to see this new threat. Turns out, this new threat may be more dangerous than anyone could have expected.

This is a story, where everyone has powers. There are superheroes of course, and supervillains. This takes place during a time where heroes are currently recruiting new sidekicks- Those heroes, of course, were most likely to be young, still in high school type of age. Of course there'd still be some pretty old heroes out there, and villains too, but it was much more likely to find younger heroes. Not to mention they wouldn't hide their real names. They'd use their real name as a hero name, which could be dumb in a way, but they wouldn't exactly have to get in trouble for suddenly leaving class or anything, they'd be able to get out of everything as long as they were able to save the day. Unfair, right? Though, that's just how society is nowadays. [P.S. This is a Saiouma story.]
